Let me give you some of the fat loss fundamentals that you can immediately start implementing into your healthy weight loss plan.
Just remember, you can learn what it takes to lose weight pretty quickly and easily. But in order to stick with a healthy weight loss plan, the most important thing to keep in mind is that you’ll want to develop the right habits that will allow you to lose weight effectively without feeling like you’re following some kind of diet.
After all, diets are temporary solutions to permanent problems. Here, we’re not looking for a temporary fix, but rather a permanent weight loss eating plan that’s fun, healthy, and tastes good.
You won’t have to give up the enjoyment of your meals if you learn good eating habits to lose fat.
With that being said, let me give you some fat loss eating fundamentals that I practice on a daily basis:
Nutrition – I will list some of the most important nutrition habits to follow in order to lose fat:
1. Eat small, frequent meals throughout the day (most likely 5-6 meals will do the job)
2. Eat lean protein with each meal (chicken, lean ground beef, eggs, fish, etc.)
3. Eat vegetables with every meal. It doesn’t matter if the vegetables are raw or cooked, as long as they are vegetables. It doesn’t matter what kind of vegetable either, but try to vary the vegetables you eat so you don’t get bored.
4. Include some healthy fats in your meals (ie cook with olive oil and canola oil, have plain peanut butter with some apples or carrots for a snack, and avocados are another good source of healthy fats). Also include fish oil with one or two of your meals each day.
5. Limit processed carbs (breads, pastas, rice, and all snacks). If you really want to eat something, just make sure you include it in the morning or right after you work out. Carbohydrates are best used by the body during these times, so they are less likely to be stored as fat.
That’s all to start with. Following these simple fundamentals and turning them into daily habits will make losing healthy fat a sure thing. Healthy weight loss plans are not, and in fact should not be, restrictive.
Healthy weight loss plans should, in fact, taste great, be enjoyable, and still follow the basic fundamentals of eating to lose fat.
