“Take Control of your Health Naturally”
What is marijuana?
Marijuana is a natural herb that has been around for many years. It contains an active ingredient called cannabinoids. Each cannabinoid has a different effect on the body. THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabinol) are the two main cannabinoids used in medicine. THC is more of a psychotrophic drug and CBC more of a fibrocystic drug.
What is this used for?
Marijuana has been abused for many years just like any other drug, hence the great stigma attached to the word itself. So how dare I say marijuana and health in the same sentence? However, it is used to treat a number of different medical conditions, such as:
-
Alzheimer disease
-
loss of appetite
-
Cancer
-
Crohn’s disease
-
Eating disorders (anorexia)
-
Glaucoma
-
Mental health conditions (schizophrenia, PTSD, ADHD)
-
Multiple sclerosis
-
muscle spasms
-
Nausea
-
Bread
-
Wasting syndrome (cachexia)
-
It has also been shown to help control seizures in children.
If marijuana was preventing your child from having 20 seizures a day that no other medication would, would you then deny treatment? My question is, “So why are we so up in arms over marijuana?”
How does it work?
Cannabinoids are similar to natural chemicals produced by the body that are involved in the body’s appetite, memory, movement, and pain processes. It can be ingested in many other ways besides smoking! Actually, there are medicinal methods.
My opinion
It seems to me that it is much healthier to use a medicine that is a natural chemical very similar to what our body is already producing to treat what ails us than to subject our body to a synthetic man-made medicine that only causes more effects. side effects that have to be treated with more synthetic man-made medicine. Just say’…
