So, if like me, all of you are a bit confused about the new Xbox Kinect, I have decided to write a fully descriptive and informative review about it.
I have had the pleasure of experiencing the Xbox Kinect and I can say that I am 100% satisfied that it will be a big seller for Christmas 2010.
Many people, including myself, were under the impression that Kinect was a new Xbox console, when in fact it is an add-on. You must have an Xbox for Kinect to work. Once you’ve received your Kinect, simply plug it into your Xbox 360 and you’re ready to go.
The Kinect detects your face, arms, legs, feet, and hands. It can even detect a change in the pitch and volume of the voice. This is done through the use of sensors.
This was all developed by Microsoft and an Israeli partner who foresaw that sensors and interactive gaming are indeed the future of all gaming, and they were right, Xbox Kinect is already out of stock at most retailers and is scheduled to delayed until well into 2011 due to high demand during the festive season, and who can blame them? Xbox Kinect banishes the use of remote controls and makes the user the controller. You’ll feel in complete control and can change selections with the wave of a hand. There are literally endless opportunities to play with Kinect, and it’s estimated that all consoles will be sensor-controlled by 2012, isn’t that far off?
Xbox Kinect was the best gaming experience I’ve ever had and while I’m not a serious gamer, even I was looking forward to using it over and over again.
